The Spiral Brush is manufactured by forming a metal channel strip brush into a continuous helical coil. Unlike a single ring brush, the strip extends through multiple turns, allowing the brush to cover a longer working area while the coil pitch can be adjusted according to the required contact pattern.
Two basic configurations are available. An inverted spiral brush has bristles facing inward toward the center of the coil, creating continuous brushing contact around rods, shafts, wires, tubes and other cylindrical components. An external spiral brush has bristles facing outward and can be installed over a shaft or core to create a cylindrical brushing surface similar to a roller brush.
