Product Overview
This clip on strip brush combines a bendable thermoplastic rubber profile with staple-set bristle tufts. Its grooved clip-on base clamps directly onto a compatible panel edge, providing a practical mounting method without screws, adhesive or a separate brush holder.
The flexible profile can follow straight sections, gentle curves and irregular edge shapes while maintaining brush contact along the installation area. Single-row, double-row and triple-row constructions are available, together with front-tufted and side-tufted configurations for different sealing, wiping, pressing and guiding directions. For applications that require a rigid snap-fit profile rather than a bendable rubber base, see our Rigid Plastic Clip-On Strip Brush for Cable Pass-Throughs.

Product Features
- Flexible Edge-Following Profile: The thermoplastic rubber base bends along curved, angled and irregular panel edges where a rigid brush holder cannot maintain consistent contact.
- Continuous-Length Installation: Supplied in rolls of up to 25 meters and cut to the required length, reducing joints across long sealing areas.
- Two Tufting Directions: Front-tufted and side-tufted constructions provide brush contact in different directions.
- Adjustable Bristle Coverage: Single-row, double-row and triple-row configurations are available according to the required sealing coverage and density.
- Application-Specific Fill Materials: Nylon, polypropylene, Tampico fiber, animal hair or steel wire can be selected according to the contact surface and working conditions.

Profile Options and Dimensions
The diagram below compares five flexible strip brush profiles. Profile selection should be based on the mounting method, panel thickness, tufting direction and required filament height.
BJ-HQ1, BJ-HQ2 and BJ-HQ3 are clip-on profiles designed to grip compatible panel edges. BJ-HQ4 and BJ-HQ5 are alternative flexible profiles without a clip-on groove, included for customers requiring a different mounting method.

Roll Supply and Custom Cutting
The flexible profile can be wound into compact coils for continuous-length supply or cut into finished sections before shipment. Customers can specify the profile model, bristle rows, filament height and required length when ordering.
The packaging shown below is one example with two bristle rows, a 50 mm filament height and a total length of 25 meters; other configurations can be produced separately.

Applications
This flexible clip-on strip brush is designed for equipment with an exposed panel edge, especially where the mounting line includes curves, corners or changes in direction. Typical applications include:
- Curved industrial doors, covers and access panels
- CNC machine guards and equipment enclosures
- Commercial truck and trailer edge sealing
- Sweeping and cleaning equipment
- Conveyor guiding, wiping and product support
- Cabinet openings and cable entry edges with compatible panel thickness
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the flexible clip-on rubber strip brush follow curved edges?
Yes. The thermoplastic rubber profile can bend along gentle curves, angled sections and irregular panel edges. The minimum practical bend radius depends on the selected profile, tufting direction and filament height.
How do I choose between BJ-HQ1, BJ-HQ2 and BJ-HQ3?
First measure the thickness of the panel edge. BJ-HQ1 is designed for approximately 2–3 mm panels, while BJ-HQ2 and BJ-HQ3 suit approximately 0.6–1.5 mm panels. The required brush contact direction determines whether a front-tufted or side-tufted profile is more suitable.
What is the difference between front-tufted and side-tufted profiles?
Front-tufted profiles position the filaments below the mounting edge, while side-tufted profiles direct the brush contact laterally. The correct construction depends on the direction from which the gap must be sealed, wiped or guided.
Can the brush be supplied in cut lengths instead of a complete roll?
Yes. It can be supplied as a continuous roll of up to 25 meters or cut into finished sections according to the installation dimensions.
What information is required for a quotation?
Please provide the panel thickness, profile model or cross-section, filament material, filament height, tufting direction, number of rows, required length and order quantity. A drawing or installation photo is helpful for confirming the correct profile.
